Bulgaria, for those yet unaware, is a small jewel of a country located at the edge of Eastern Europe, quietly and conspicuously on the western coast of the Black Sea.  Though small, Bulgaria is diverse in both landscapes and peoples.  Photographs on this site are an exploration of this diversity from the eyes of an American who’s lived in Bulgaria for over 4 years.

These explorations are not limited only to Bulgaria itself, as no object can truly be examined without account for the space around it. As revelations are made, additional photo-essays and unassociated photographs will be uploaded to this site.  Until then, enjoy.
